New Blogger-Heather Lake
Hello Everyone. My name is Heather Lake and I am the Social Media Specialist at RSVP and since Tracy is no longer with us I am taking over as a blogger. I am not yet sure the format we will be following from now on. I would appreciate any and all suggestions. I know the biggest thing will be to highlight the great work of our Senior Volunteers who work so tirelessly to make our area a better place to be and to serve in so many diverse ways. Welcome to the RSVP of Monroe and Owen Counties Blog!
RSVP of Monroe and Owen counties in Indiana supports over 450 volunteers who serve over 100 different organizations. This blog will relay information regarding upcoming events to not only RSVP members, but to the communities they are serving as well. Each month this blog will showcase a "Volunteer in Action". This feature will spotlight various volunteers to show how inspiring they all are!

When you walk into the Area 10 Agency on Aging, you will be greeted with a friendly face! The friendly face on Wednesdays is Margie Bullard-Smith. Margie has been with RSVP for about 4 years now. She loves volunteering with RSVP because she gets to meet new people everyday!
The person at the Welcome-Reception can help direct you to information about RSVP and other valuable services the Area 10 Agency on Aging offers.
